In collaborations with Pierre Hardy for six seasons with a small series of shoes, with Stella McCartney a few years ago, it is now that the next capsule collection is announced, especially because its release will coincide with the opening of Gap’s first flagship in Milan.
Announced earlier this year, the arrival of Gap on the Italian market is said to be in full swing. The opening on the Corso Vittorio Emmanuele stretches some 2,300 square metres which should not go unnoticed.
Created by Maria Grazia Chiuru and Pier Paolo Piccioli, Valentino’s Artistic Directors, the capsule collection should offer a series of wearable pieces that "synthesise the current trend that mixes luxury elements with basics."
Gap, which seeks a breath of fresh fashion air particularly for its 1969 "Premium" Denim, has opted for selective distribution. Other than in the new Milan store, we will only find the capsule collection at Colette in Paris and on Dover Street in London.
