Selfridges appoints Anne Pitcher to managing director

The eminent British department store has announced the appointment of Anne Pitcher to managing director on Wednesday.

Having worked for Selfridges as buying and merchandise director, and before that for premier department stores Harvey Nichols and Harrods, Ms. Pitcher comes as an ideal pick for the vacancy. She will be reporting to chief executive, Paul Kelly.
