Benetton shares to remain suspended until Wednesday

Trading in shares of Italian retailer Benetton will remain suspended pending the release of a statement on Wednesday, the Italian bourse said on Tuesday.

Benetton's controlling shareholder Edizione said it was studying a bid on the Benetton shares it does not already own with the aim of delisting the company. A decision will be taken on Wednesday, it said.
