Marks & Spencer launches online outlet store
Until now only available at the 50 M&S outlet stores in the UK, the retailer’s discounted clothes will now also be sold online via its recently launched outlet store website. The latter will offer a selection of 1,300 womenswear, menswear and childrenswear products, with large discounts of up to 40%.
Marks & Spencer opened its first outlet store in 2000. The new website will at first only be available to the British market, with M&S providing the stock, while Amazon handles the orders, deliveries and returns.
To celebrate the occasion, the website will offer free delivery for a limited period of time if online users spend 30 pounds or more. Keen to get to know its customers quickly, M&S will also give a 10 pound discount to those who sign up to its newsletter.
