Gap restructures creative and merchandising teams
The two new senior executives were hired by Glenn Murphy, Gap CEO. To increase the offering at Old Navy, the U.S. giant has dispatched Jill Stanton and her 25 years of experience naming her creative consultant for the brand. Passed by Next and Marks & Spencer, she was recently vice president of the "Global Apparel" segment at Nike.
Liz Meltzer, for her part, has held the office of senior vice president in charge of merchandising for the United States and Europe at Uniqlo and senior positions in merchandising for J. Crew and Calvin Klein. She takes over merchandising for Asia, Europe and all international markets outside North America as senior vice president of Gap International.
