British label Joseph to make London Fashion Week debut
British brand Joseph, named after its founder Joseph Ettedgui who died two years ago, told the British press that it is due to hold its first ever London Fashion Week catwalk show this year. The fashion week is scheduled to take place from September 14 to 18.
Some magazines were quick to point out the "Kate Middleton Effect”, who has been snapped wearing various outfits by the British label, said to be one of the Duchess of Cambridge’s favourite designers. Offering a range of products from flippy skirts to masculine suits, Joseph’s grunge chic look is growing in popularity.
But perhaps it would be more accurate to call it the “Louise Trotter Effect”, who has been the brand’s creative director for six seasons. Joseph can be found all across the world, with 20 standalone stores in the UK, 6 in France, and others in Italy, the United States, Asia and the Middle East.
