It is a homecoming for this 61-year-old who already served as president of Jordan from 1999 to 2006, now returning from a stint as president of the Portland Trail Blazers basketball team. Miller has also served as vice president and general manager of Nike Basketball. He will report to Trevor Edwards, vice president of global brands, replacing Keith Houlemard, who is taking over brand strategy.

The Jordan brand was launched in 1997, comprising footwear, apparel and accessory lines inspired by the legacy of former American basketball player Michael Jordan.
