Lacoste imagines the future of the polo
It was in 1933 that René Lacoste began manufacturing the famous polo shirt, the L1212. L for Lacoste, of course, 1 to mark the type of cotton used, 2 to signify the short sleeved model and 12 to represent the prototype number. Now, 80 years on, to celebrate the anniversary of the now famous Lacoste polo shirt, the brand has released a film depicting a future where technology poses no boundaries. The film, produced by MNSTR, will be made live on 12/12/12. In an attempt to interact with its customers, the brand’s Facebook fans are invited to post their ideas on the future of the Lacoste polo.
The most original ideas will be selected and featured across the social meda networks used by the brand until 31st December.
