Created by the initiative of the General Expo company, of the Sogefoires International group, and in collaboration with the Tunisian National Union of Lingerie Manufacturers (CSNFL), Lingerie-MED will hold its first session at the International Centre for Fairs and Congress (CIFCO) – La Charguia de Tunis.
Around one hundred exhibitors from the Mediterranean basin (Tunisia, Morocco, Turkey, Egypt...) – which includes some of the main European lingerie and swimwear suppliers – are expected at this premiere and will represent the sectors: day lingerie, corsetry, hosiery and tights, nightwear and homewear, as well as swimsuits, textile manufacturers, stitchers, accessories and technology.
During the trade show, Lingerie-MED will be organising a conference to discuss the situation, prospects and international stakes for the lingerie-swimwear sector. Furthermore, fashion show catwalks will be held each day of the event.
Tunisia is the second largest bra and swimwear supplier to the European Union and the fourth largest underwear supplier.
